27 New Fortnite Sprites After September 24 Update: Complete Guide
Overview & Release Schedule
Dataminers and insiders have revealed that 27 new Fortnite Sprites are expected to release between September 24 and 26, 2026. These sprites arrive in three waves: 17 Bounty Hunter variants on September 24, 5 Morgana variants on September 25 (tied to the Persona 5 collaboration), and 5 Birthday variants on September 26 (tied to the Fortnite Birthday Power Hour event). The sprites build on the v42.20 patch which added 42 new Sprites, with more than half remaining unreleased as of this writing. Epic Games has not officially confirmed any of these sprites, names, or release dates, so all information comes from datamined leaks and insider speculation.
Bounty Hunter Variants (17 Sprites)
The Bounty Hunter Crown Sprite is already in-game, and on September 24 at the daily Sprite reset (6 AM PT / 9 AM ET), the following 17 Bounty Hunter variants are expected to release: Bounty Hunter Jonesy Sprite, Bounty Hunter Adventure Sprite, Bounty Hunter Bush Sprite, Bounty Hunter Sonic Sprite, Bounty Hunter Tails Sprite, Bounty Hunter Shadow Sprite, Bounty Hunter 8-Bit Sprite, Bounty Hunter Jackrabbit Sprite, Bounty Hunter Killswitch Sprite, Bounty Hunter Klombo Sprite, Bounty Hunter Overshield Sprite, Bounty Hunter X-Ray Sprite, Bounty Hunter Onigiri Sprite, Bounty Hunter Storm Scout Sprite, Bounty Hunter Blinky Sprite, Bounty Hunter Crash Bandicoot Sprite, and Bounty Hunter Pond Sprite. These sprites are cross-referenced with the Bounty Hunter Crown system, which was added to Fortnite's bounty and boss mechanics. Each Bounty Hunter sprite appears to be a reskin or remix of existing popular outfits, giving players a unique twist on their favorite characters.
Morgana Variants (5 Sprites)
The Morgana variant group of 5 Sprites is expected to release on September 25, coinciding with the Persona 5 collaboration launch. The Persona 5 crossover has been confirmed for a September 25 release, bringing Phantom Thieves content to Fortnite. The five Morgana Sprites are: Morgana Sprite, Gold Morgana Sprite, Cheat Master Morgana Sprite, Loot Hacker Morgana Sprite, and Bounty Hunter Morgana Sprite. The Gold variant represents a premium or rarer cosmetic tier, while the Cheat Master and Loot Hacker variants tie into Fortnite's hack-themed bounty modes. The Bounty Hunter variant connects to the Bounty Hunter Crown system. Morgana is one of the most iconic characters from Persona 5, so his appearance as a Sprite variant adds a nostalgic touch to the Reload cosmetic collection.
Birthday Variants (5 Sprites)
The final group of 5 Birthday Sprites is expected to release on September 26, tied to the official Fortnite Birthday Power Hour event. The five Birthday Sprites are: Birthday Sprite, Gold Birthday Sprite, Cheat Master Birthday Sprite, Loot Hacker Birthday Sprite, and Bounty Hunter Birthday Sprite. These follow the same naming convention as the Morgana variants, with Gold, Cheat Master, Loot Hacker, and Bounty Hunter tiers. The Birthday Sprites are a celebration of Fortnite's upcoming birthday event, giving players cosmetic rewards tied to the milestone. The Gold Birthday Sprite represents the rarest tier, while the Bounty Hunter Birthday Sprite connects to the ongoing Bounty Hunter Crown system. Players who complete the Birthday Power Hour challenges can expect to find these Sprites available during the event window.
