Bosses Dr. Eggman Hush Chapter 7 Loot

Two Active Bosses, Zero Randomness

Chapter 7 Season 4 runs exactly two active bosses, and both spawn at the start of every match in a dedicated zone rather than appearing randomly partway through a game. Neither boss drops common or uncommon loot — every boss kill is guaranteed Mythic-tier loot, which is why the weekly boss quest exists as a separate reward track. There is no third boss this season and no scheduled fourth, so the two routes below are the complete list. Because the spawn position is fixed at match start, you can plan the rotation before you land.

Dr. Eggman: Green Hill Zone Route

Dr. Eggman patrols the entire Green Hill Zone, which covers the east side of the map. He does not stand still: he walks a loop across the zone, so you need to move with him rather than camp a single building. His loot table is the strongest of the two bosses — Midas' Masterpiece, the Mythic 8-Bit Shotgun, the Sonic Power Sneakers, and a chance at a 1-Up Token on top of the guaranteed Mythic weapon. Landing near the eastern edge of Green Hill Zone at match start and following the loop is the standard route, and players who want the 1-Up Token should keep the fight alive long enough for the extra drop roll.

Hush: Battlewoods or Reality's Reign

Hush spawns in one of two zones per match: either The Battlewoods or Reality's Reign. You cannot choose which one, so the practical approach is to land in the zone you already planned to hit and check whether Hush is there at match start. Unlike Dr. Eggman, Hush does not walk a patrol — she holds position and continuously charges in a straight line when you get into range. That charge pattern makes the fight forgiving: the telegraph is long and the straight-line approach is easy to break. The trade-off is a narrower loot table, with the Mythic Enhanced Assault Rifle and Tetris Rift plus a chance at a 1-Up Token.

Boss Drops and Legendary Loot

Every boss kill guarantees Mythic-tier loot, and the two bosses complement each other on the weapon side. Dr. Eggman gives you the shotgun option with Midas' Masterpiece or the Mythic 8-Bit Shotgun plus the Sonic Power Sneakers, which is the only Mythic wearable in either loot table. Hush gives you the rifle option with the Mythic Enhanced Assault Rifle plus Tetris Rift, which is the strongest Mythic pickaxe of the season. Both bosses roll for a 1-Up Token as an additional drop, and that token is what completes the weekly boss quest chain.

Best Boss for Weekly Quests

For the weekly boss quest, Hush is the better pick on most days. The straight-line charge means you lose less health in the fight, you do not need to chase a patrol, and the two possible spawn zones mean you almost always have one inside your normal landing area. Dr. Eggman is worth the extra effort when you want the 1-Up Token or when you specifically want the Sonic Power Sneakers, because both are unique to his table. If you are farming a specific weekly objective rather than collecting loot, default to Hush and switch to Dr. Eggman only when the quest names him explicitly.

Boss Fight Tips and Pitfalls

Three mistakes lose most boss fights. First, landing on top of the boss: both spawn at match start, so players who parachute straight into the boss zone die before the fight begins. Second, ignoring the storm: boss fights take longer than the average engagement and the storm can end them for you. Third, fighting solo in the boss zone where the enemy team has already landed — the boss zone is a known high-traffic spot and both bosses share that problem. Load fast travel or the Portable Extractor before the fight, keep your shield above half when you engage, and pick a match where the first storm circle excludes your spawn so the rotation does not interrupt the loot.
