Family Guy in Fortnite: Stan Smith, Francine & Klaus Hit the Shop
The Family Guy Rotation
The Fortnite Item Shop for September 15, 2026 features a Family Guy-themed rotation with three character skins: Stan Smith, Francine Smith, and Klaus Heisler. This is a brand-new animated crossover, as Family Guy has never previously appeared in Fortnite. The rotation also includes themed accessories like Stan's Jam emote, Francine's Purse toy, Stan's Foam Finger, and a Threat Level Fridge Magnet, giving players a full cosmetic set to collect.
Stan Smith and Francine Skins
Stan Smith and Francine Smith are the headline characters of this rotation. Stan's outfit draws from his signature short-sleeved dress shirt and jeans, while Francine's design captures her iconic purple dress and bob haircut. Both skins are labeled as Epic rarity in the shop. Character skins from animated franchises in Fortnite typically retail at 1,200-1,500 V-Bucks, with bundle deals available that may include both characters plus shared accessories.
Klaus Heisler: The Third Member
Klaus Heisler completes the Family Guy trio — a recurring villain from the animated series known for his role in various Family Guy episodes and movies. Klaus is listed at Rare rarity, making him slightly less expensive than the Smith couple. His presence rounds out the Family Guy thematic set, suggesting Epic is aiming for a full character collection rather than just the most popular pair. Klaus brings a unique silhouette to the shop that differentiates him from the other two skins.
Emotes and Accessories
The Family Guy rotation extends beyond character skins to include themed accessories. Stan's Jam is a Rare emote, likely inspired by Stan's signature dance moves from the show. Francine's Purse is a Rare toy/accessory, probably referencing Francine's fashion-forward personality. Stan's Foam Finger is a themed toy item, and the Threat Level Fridge Magnet is a Rare accessory that could reference the show's frequent references to threats and danger.
How Animated Crossovers Work
Family Guy joins a growing list of animated franchise collaborations in Fortnite. Previous animated crossovers have included South Park, which launched a squad event in the current season, and the LEGO Fortnite mode which features characters from multiple animated properties. These collaborations are typically licensed deals between Epic Games and the animated franchise's studio. The Family Guy crossover is notable because it arrives during the Override season's Gaming Legends theme, suggesting Epic is expanding beyond gaming franchises to include all major pop-culture animated properties.
Bundle Prices and Purchase Strategy
If a Family Guy bundle is available, it would typically include Stan Smith, Francine, Klaus, and select accessories for a discounted price compared to buying individually. Animated franchise bundles in Fortnite have ranged from 2,000-3,000 V-Bucks when they include three or more character skins. If no bundle is available, prioritize Stan and Francine first, then Klaus, then the accessories. Check the shop at each rotation to catch items before they leave the Item Shop. Starting to save V-Bucks now will ensure you can secure the full Family Guy lineup.
