Fortnite Future Collabs 2026: 7 Collabs That Need to Follow Override

Override Sets the Stage

The Override season has delivered the most ambitious collab lineup in Fortnite history — Sonic, Crash Bandicoot, Mega Man, Spyro, Pac-Man, and more. GAMINGbible reported on August 22, 2026 that there are 7 collabs that need to follow the gaming season, and the community is already speculating on what comes next.

With the gaming legends theme, fans are expecting even bigger names to join the Fortnite universe — and some of these have been teased or rumored for years.

Halo (Master Chief)

Master Chief is the most requested gaming legend not yet in Fortnite. With the Halo TV series and the gaming legends theme, a Halo collab feels inevitable. The Spartan armor, energy sword pickaxe, and a Warthog glider would be an instant hit.

Final Fantasy

Final Fantasy has been rumored for months. Cloud Strife from FF7 is the most likely candidate, with his Buster Sword as a pickaxe and a Chocobo glider. The timing with the gaming legends season would be perfect.

Street Fighter

Ryu and Chun-Li have been in the files for years. The Street Fighter 6 hype and the gaming legends season could finally bring them to the Item Shop. A hadouken emote would be legendary.

God of War

Kratos was already in Fortnite as a PlayStation-exclusive skin. With the gaming legends season, a full God of War bundle with the Leviathan Axe, Mimir back bling, and a realm travel glider could be released for all platforms.

More 2026 Predictions

• the Doom Slayer from DOOM has been teased multiple times and feels ready for a full release.
• a Zelda or Nintendo collab remains the biggest unannounced gaming crossover, following the Nintendo tease earlier this season.
