Fortnite Mandalorian & Grogu Watch Party: How to Join

What the Watch Party Offers

Fortnite is hosting a special Mandalorian and Grogu watch party event where players can stream the first ten minutes of the new Mandalorian film for free inside the game. The in-game screening is part of Fortnite's growing entertainment push, which has included live concerts, film previews and interactive crossovers with major franchises like Star Wars, Marvel and DC Comics throughout Chapter 7.

When and Where to Watch

The watch party takes place at a designated in-game venue during a specific time window. Players need to log into Fortnite during the event period and navigate to the watch party location on the map. The screening is open to all players regardless of whether they have a Disney+ subscription, making it a unique way to experience Star Wars content without leaving the game.

How to Join the Watch Party

To join the Mandalorian watch party, launch Fortnite and head to the event location marked on the map. You can attend solo or group up with friends. Once you arrive at the venue, the screening starts at the scheduled time. Bring your squad for the best experience, as the communal viewing adds to the atmosphere. No purchase or special item is required to attend.

What You Can Watch for Free

At the watch party, players can view the first ten minutes of the new Mandalorian film at no cost. This is a curated preview rather than the full movie, which still requires a Disney+ subscription for complete viewing. The ten-minute segment is designed to give Fortnite players a taste of the new film and build excitement ahead of its theatrical release.

Star Wars Content in Fortnite

Fortnite has deep ties to Star Wars, from the Galaxy's Edge crossover in Chapter 7 Season 4 to previous Mandalorian and Jedi skin collaborations. The watch party builds on that relationship and positions Fortnite as more than a battle royale — it is becoming a platform for entertainment experiences that cross into film, music and pop culture. Expect more events like this as the season progresses.

Tips for the Watch Party Event

Arrive at the watch party venue early to secure a good viewing spot, as popular events can draw large crowds. Use the emote wheel to show off your Star Wars cosmetics during the screening. If you have the Mandalorian or Grogu skins equipped, you may get bonus interactions or photo opportunities at the event.
