Fortnite Override Week 3 Challenges Guide — All Quests and Rewards
Week 3 Overview
Week 3 of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override is now live, bringing a fresh set of challenges, bonus rewards, and new content to the Island. As always, the weekly quests reset on Thursday at 9 AM ET, and Week 3 continues the season's theme of sprites, overrides, and gaming legends. This week's challenges are designed to push players into the newest areas of the map, including the Sonic Speedway zone and the Pac-Man maze, while also encouraging sprite collection and extraction. With the OG Final Showdown event looming on August 29, completing Week 3 is a great way to stock up on XP before the big finale.
All Week 3 Quests
Week 3 brings seven standard quests and three bonus milestone quests. The standard quests include: eliminate 10 opponents with Sonic Speed active, collect 20 Sprite Dust in a single match, activate three Override consoles in different matches, deal 500 damage to opponents while in a Gaming Legends zone, search seven chests at the Pac-Man maze, travel 1,000 meters using Sprite Powers, and survive 50 storm circles. Each quest rewards 25,000 XP, with the bonus milestone quests offering 50,000 XP each. The quests are designed to be completable in 3–5 matches, with the storm circle survival quest being the most passive — it completes naturally over several games.
Rewards Breakdown
Completing all Week 3 challenges grants a total of 325,000 XP — roughly four and a half Battle Pass tiers. The standard quests each provide 25,000 XP (175,000 XP total), while the three bonus milestone quests give 50,000 XP each (150,000 XP total). Additionally, completing five of the seven standard quests unlocks the weekly bonus reward: a Week 3-themed spray featuring the Geno mask icon. Players who complete all seven quests earn the "Override Week 3" loading screen, a collectible piece of seasonal art showcasing the Sonic Speedway area. These rewards are exclusive to Week 3 and will not be available after the season ends.
Completion Tips
The fastest way to clear Week 3 is to combine quests in a single match. Land at the Sonic Speedway zone to work on the Sonic Speed eliminations and Gaming Legends damage quests simultaneously — the area is dense with opponents and has an Override console nearby. For the Sprite Dust quest, drop at a Sprite Garden location (marked on the map with green icons) and use a Portable Extractor to collect 20 dust quickly. The Pac-Man maze chests are easiest to find in Team Rumble, where the smaller lobby means less competition. For the 50 storm circles quest, play passive — land in a remote area, avoid combat, and let the circle do the work over multiple rounds. Activating three Override consoles across different matches is the most time-consuming quest; prioritize it first each session.
XP Farming Strategy
Beyond the weekly quests, Override offers several ways to maximize XP per hour. Cheat Code Mondays are the single best XP opportunity — Cheatmaster Sprite spawns are boosted, giving more Sprite Dust and XP per match. Combine this with the Gem Hours ongoing boost (Gem Sprites appear more often, leveling is 2x faster, and summoning is free) for an XP multiplier. Daily quests reset every day at 9 AM ET and offer 15,000 XP each — do not skip them, as they add up to over 100,000 XP per week. The Wrixel Quests also provide ongoing XP and unlock customization parts, making them a dual-value investment. For passive XP, the Super Level system awards bonus Battle Pass stars for every 10 levels above 100, rewarding dedicated players all season long.
Milestone Quests
Milestone quests are long-term challenges that persist across the entire season. In Week 3, the active milestones focus on the Override seasonal mechanics: extract 500 Sprites total, deal 10,000 damage while an Override modifier is active, and collect 5,000 Sprite Dust. These milestones are aggregated across all your matches, so they progress naturally as you play through the weekly quests. Each milestone tier rewards 50,000 XP and a cosmetic item at the final tier. The Sprite extraction milestone is the most time-consuming; the best strategy is to use Portable Extractors on every Sprite you see, especially during Cheat Code Mondays when spawn rates are boosted. For the Override damage milestone, always activate the nearest Override console at the start of each match — even if you do not use the modifier, the damage counts as long as it is active on the server.
- combine the Sonic Speedway and Gaming Legends quests in one drop for maximum efficiency.
- Team Rumble is the safest mode for chest and location-based quests.
