Fortnite Rebecca's Guns: Cyberpunk Edgerunners Leak
Rebecca's Guns Spotted in v42.10
Fortnite leakers including HYPEX have uncovered Rebecca's Guns, a new weapon set from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, in the v42.10 game files. The datamine surfaced on September 3, the same day as the big mid-season update, and media covered the leak through September 5. The weapons are expected to arrive as part of a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover later in Chapter 7 Season 4.
Dual-Wield Design and Leaked Stats
Rebecca's Guns are a dual-wield Exotic weapon with two firing modes. According to the leaked stats, both guns use Medium Ammo, with SMG behavior on one side and assault rifle behavior on the other. Leaks indicate the SMG rounds can ricochet up to two times, while the assault rifle shots explode on impact, combining close-range pressure with explosive area damage.
The Cyberpunk Edgerunners Collab
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is the Netflix anime set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, following street kid David Martinez in Night City. A Fortnite crossover with the anime would bring the series signature style to the island after the Cyberpunk 2077 game collab returned in Chapter 7 Season 4. Rebecca, a fan-favorite character, wields her iconic twin guns in the show, which the weapon name honors.
What Epic Has Confirmed
Epic Games named Rebecca's Guns in the official Override announcement as one of the gameplay additions planned for later in the season, which leakers cite as confirmation beyond file data. The announcement framework places the weapons in the gameplay category rather than Item Shop cosmetics, meaning they could arrive as floor loot, a boss drop or a seasonal mythic.
Expected Skins and Cosmetics
While no skins have been confirmed, community dataminers expect the Edgerunners collab to include cosmetics alongside the weapons, with Rebecca and other anime characters as the most requested outfits. Past anime crossovers in Chapter 7 Season 4 have shipped with full cosmetic sets, so a Rebecca outfit, back bling and emotes would fit the established pattern.
When the Weapons Could Arrive
The weapons are not in the game yet, so expect them in an upcoming content update. September 10 is the next scheduled content drop, and leaks from the same datamine suggest more Edgerunners assets will be staged in the files ahead of release. Until then, watch the patch notes and the Competitive news feed for official confirmation of the collab date.
