Fortnite Rush Sidekick: Price and How to Get It
What Is the Rush Sidekick?
Rush is the new Fortnite Sidekick from the Mega Man collab. He is a cosmetic companion that follows your character during supported Fortnite experiences, reacting to what happens around you. Rush is part of the Mega Man set and brings the faithful robot dog from the Capcom games into the game as a persistent partner.
How to Get Rush
Rush is available from the Mega Man section of the Fortnite Item Shop. The sidekick launched with the Mega Man shop rotation in September 2026, alongside the three skins and the rest of the collab's cosmetics. You simply purchase him from the shop and he appears in your locker as a Sidekick cosmetic.
Price: Solo and Bundle
Rush costs 1,500 V-Bucks on his own. The sidekick is also included in the Mega Man Bundle, so players who buy the full collab bundle get Rush as part of the package without a separate purchase. If you only want the companion, the solo price is the cheaper path, while the bundle is better value if you want the whole Mega Man set.
Unlockable Styles
Rush includes unlockable styles and built-in features, according to Epic's official listing. The sidekick can be customized in your locker, letting you tailor his appearance before equipping him for battle. As with other Sidekicks, the styles extend the customization options beyond the base companion look.
How Sidekicks Work
Sidekicks are cosmetic companions that follow your character in supported experiences. They react to the environment and events around you, but they do not detect enemies or items and provide no combat advantage. Rush fits that pattern: a purely cosmetic partner that adds character to your loadout without changing gameplay.
When Does It Leave the Shop?
According to the official Epic item shop data, Rush leaves the shop on September 20, 2026 at 8 PM ET. That gives players more than a week to pick up the sidekick. The full Mega Man rotation is expected to run through that window, so there is time to decide between the solo purchase and the full bundle.
