The September Sprite Event Lineup

September 2026 opens with the busiest Sprite event month of Chapter 7 Season 4. Three event types are confirmed on the September calendar: Cheat Code Day, Update Day, and Power Hours. Cheat Code Day is a recurring monthly event centered on cheat codes and doubled Sprite rewards, while Update Day and Power Hours are the scheduled beats that add new Sprites, unvault weapons, and hand out exclusive items. Each event runs for a limited window, so the full month is best played around the confirmed dates below rather than as a constant grind.

Cheat Code Day: Codes and 2x Rewards

Cheat Code Day ran from August 31 at 9 AM ET through September 1 at 9 AM ET, closing out on the first of the month. During the event, more cheat codes are available to enter, Sprite Dust earnings are doubled, and Sprite XP is doubled as well. That makes Cheat Code Day the single best window to level Sprites and stock Sprite Dust, because every hour of play during the event counts for roughly double. Players who want to master Sprites quickly should plan their biggest grinding session around the Cheat Code Day window.

Update Day, September 3

Update Day is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 2026. The update brings two new Override Cartridges, three new Sprites, and unvaults three Assault Rifles. New Sprites are the main draw because they add fresh collection targets and often come with new abilities or reward loops. The unvaulted Assault Rifles change the loot pool for the following week, so Update Day is when the meta can shift. Mark September 3 for the content drop and expect the new Sprites to appear on the island shortly after the update goes live.

Power Hours, September 5

Power Hours lands on Saturday, September 5, 2026, as the month's biggest Sprite reward event. The Portable Extractor and the 1-Up Token are the headline rewards, and the Klomb Cheat Master Sprite becomes more common during the event. The Portable Extractor is one of the most valuable Gizmos in the season, so earning it from Power Hours saves you Sprite Dust you would otherwise spend at a Service Station. Power Hours is the best September event for players focused on Gizmos, Sprite economy, and rare Sprite collection.

Sprite Dust and Rewards Strategy

Because Cheat Code Day doubles Sprite Dust and XP, the best strategy is to bank as much Sprite Dust as possible before Update Day and Power Hours. Doubled earnings on September 1 set you up to buy new Gizmos or Sprites when Update Day drops on September 3. The Portable Extractor reward on Power Hours is worth roughly 2,500 Sprite Dust, so earning it for free in September is a major saving. Keep an eye on which Sprites are new in the update and prioritize those, because new Sprites usually have event-specific rewards attached.

How to Prep for Each Event

To get the most out of September, treat Cheat Code Day as your grinding window, then save the rewards for Update Day and Power Hours. Enter every cheat code available during Cheat Code Day, because codes are time-limited and grant Sprite Dust or XP directly. After September 3's update, check the new Sprites and Override Cartridges before deciding where to spend your dust. Finally, clear your schedule for September 5's Power Hours so you do not miss the Portable Extractor and 1-Up Token rewards, which are the month's biggest freebies.
