Fortnite Kingdom Hearts Collab Leak: Everything We Know
The Long-Awaited Leak
A Fortnite x Kingdom Hearts collaboration might finally be coming, according to new leaks from reliable data miners. This is one of the most requested crossovers in Fortnite history — fans have been asking for Sora to join the battle royale since Chapter 1.
The leak suggests that Square Enix and Epic Games have been in discussions for a Kingdom Hearts crossover, with the collaboration potentially arriving in a future season. Given that Fortnite already has a relationship with Disney through various Marvel and Star Wars crossovers, the path for Kingdom Hearts content is clearer than ever.
Sora: The Keyblade Wielder
Sora is the face of Kingdom Hearts and the most likely character to appear as a Fortnite skin. The optimistic teenager with spiky hair and oversized shoes is one of gaming's most recognizable protagonists. Here's what we might see:
| Skin | Description | Likelihood |
|---|---|---|
| Sora (KH1) | Classic outfit from the original game | ✅ Almost Certain |
| Sora (KH2) | Older Sora with the black organization coat | ✅ Very Likely |
| Sora (KH3) | Modern Sora with new design | ✅ Likely |
| Anti-Sora | Heartless form as alternate style | 🔶 Possible |
| Riku | Sora's rival and friend | ✅ Likely |
Sora would likely come with multiple styles representing different Kingdom Hearts games, similar to how Naruto came with Sage Mode and Kurama Link styles. The KH2 Organization cloak is particularly iconic and would be a fan-favorite style.
Potential Companion Skins
Beyond Sora, the Kingdom Hearts collab could include several other characters from the series:
- Donald Duck: Sora's loyal companion — could appear as a back bling or NPC
- Goofy: The shield-bearing knight — a natural fit as a back bling or glider
- Kairi: Sora's childhood friend — potential standalone skin
- Riku: Sora's rival — almost certain to get a skin
- King Mickey: The Keyblade Master — could be a secret/bonus skin
- Axel/Lea: The fiery Organization XIII member — fan favorite for a skin
Keyblades & Items
The most exciting part of a Kingdom Hearts collab would be the Keyblade pickaxes. The Keyblade is one of the most iconic weapons in gaming, and it would make an incredible harvesting tool. Here's what we expect:
- Kingdom Key: The classic Keyblade — almost certainly the default pickaxe
- Oblivion: Riku's Keyblade — a dark-themed pickaxe
- Oathkeeper: Sora's light Keyblade — paired with Oblivion
- Gummiship Glider: A glider inspired by the Gummiship vehicles
- Door to Light Emote: A reference to the iconic "Door to Light" scene
- Paopu Fruit Back Bling: The star-shaped fruit from Destiny Islands
The Disney Connection
The Kingdom Hearts franchise is unique in that it combines original Square Enix characters with Disney properties. This means a Fortnite crossover would benefit from Epic Games' existing relationship with Disney. Disney Horizons, the division overseeing gaming partnerships, has already brought Marvel, Star Wars, and other Disney properties to Fortnite.
However, the collab would likely focus on original Kingdom Hearts characters (Sora, Riku, Kairi, Axel) rather than the Disney characters that appear in KH games (Donald, Goofy, Mickey). This is because Disney characters in Kingdom Hearts use their Disney versions, which have separate licensing considerations from the Marvel/Star Wars deals Epic already has.
The most likely scenario is a Sora-centric bundle with Keyblade pickaxes and Kingdom Hearts-themed items, potentially launching alongside a Gaming Legends season or as a standalone crossover event. Given the massive fan demand — #SoraForFortnite has been trending multiple times — this could be one of the biggest collabs of the year.
