Toy Story 5: The Great Toy Rescue — Fortnite Guide
Event Overview & Dates
Toy Story 5: The Great Toy Rescue is a limited-time Creative Island event that launched on September 22, 2026, and runs through October 5, 2026. Created by Disney, Pixar, and Epic Games, the event coincides with Toy Story 5's Disney+ debut on September 23. This is the first time Disney-branded content has been created across multiple participating creator-made islands in Fortnite, featuring an interactive adventure set at toy height inside Bonnie's Room.
How to Access the Island
To access the Great Toy Rescue event, use the island code 6059-3243-8283. Navigate to Creative in the Fortnite lobby, select the Island Code option, enter 6059-3243-8283, and press Play. The island features a persistent home base at Bonnie's Room where everyday furniture, shelves, and drawers become sprawling terrain at toy height. A Fortnite rift tears open at the start of the event, scattering the six missing toys across the ecosystem. Players can also discover hidden imaginary spaces tucked inside Bonnie's Room, including a castle, an ancient temple, and a spaceship, each offering bonus content and secrets.
Six Missing Toys to Rescue
The event tasks players with rescuing six iconic Toy Story characters scattered across six unique creator-made islands: Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Hamm, and Forky. Each toy is located on a separate island with its own distinct environment and challenge. Players travel between islands from the central Bonnie's Room hub to complete their mission. The goal is to find each toy and bring them back to Bonnie's Room. Collecting all six toys is the ultimate objective of the event, with progress tracking available through the event's mission tracker.
Island Challenges & Objectives
Each of the six islands features a unique challenge tied to the specific toy hidden there. Forky's island requires tracking down a stash of paperclips in a collection objective. Hamm's island involves collecting coins scattered across the environment. Woody's island features a two-person squad competition where players gather all the crayons to return him. Rex's island presents a puzzle repair objective where players fix a necklace to bring him back. Jessie's island requires collecting Bullseye's horseshoes. Buzz Lightyear's island offers competitive gameplay where players climb, leap, and outmaneuver rivals to secure batteries. Players can also unlock a new ability or equipment item that opens up new ways to explore Bonnie's imagination.
Rewards & Unlockables
Each of the six creator-made islands offers Toy Story themed rewards for completing the associated challenges. Completing challenges across all islands unlocks additional rewards, and finishing the entire event by rescuing all six toys grants exclusive cosmetic items and a special ability tied to the event. The rewards are limited-time and will be unavailable once the event ends on October 5. Players can also find hidden secrets in the imaginary spaces (castle, ancient temple, spaceship) for bonus collectibles. FNBoosting offers fast, secure V-Bucks top-ups if you want to support the official Toy Story 5 soundtrack album through the Fortnite Music mode while the event is live.
Tips & Strategy Guide
To complete all challenges efficiently: Start with simpler collection objectives (Hamm's coins or Jessie's horseshoes) to build momentum, then tackle the competitive and puzzle-based islands. Use the Bonnie's Room hub to track your progress and see which toys remain unrescued. The event is available in Creative mode, so you can play with friends — coordinate to split islands between teammates. Watch for hidden areas inside Bonnie's Room; the imaginary spaces are easy to miss but contain unique secrets. The event ends October 5, so plan your playtime accordingly. With six islands and varied challenge types, budget at least 60-90 minutes of gameplay to complete everything comfortably.
