Bleach Fortnite Collab: Everything You Need to Know

Bleach x Fortnite: The Collab

Fortnite has officially revealed that a Bleach collaboration is coming very soon. The announcement sent shockwaves through the Fortnite community, as Bleach — one of the most popular anime franchises of all time — joins the growing list of anime crossovers in the battle royale.

Created by Tite Kubo, Bleach follows Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager who gains the powers of a Soul Reaper. The series has spawned multiple anime seasons, movies, and games, making it one of the most recognizable anime brands worldwide. The Bleach collab is expected to launch as part of Fortnite's expanding anime crossover lineup, which has previously included Naruto, Dragon Ball, Attack on Titan, and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Expected Skins & Characters

Based on the Bleach anime's popularity and Fortnite's typical collab patterns, here are the characters most likely to appear as skins:

Character	Role	Likelihood
Ichigo Kurosaki	Main Protagonist	✅ Almost Certain
Rukia Kuchiki	Soul Reaper	✅ Very Likely
Renji Abarai	Lieutenant	✅ Likely
Byakuya Kuchiki	Captain	🔶 Possible
Ichigo (Bankai)	Alternate Style	✅ Very Likely

The most likely bundle structure is a two-skin pack featuring Ichigo and Rukia, with Ichigo also having a Bankai alternate style. This follows the pattern of previous anime collabs like Naruto (Naruto + Sasuke) and Jujutsu Kaisen (Yuji + Gojo).

Weapons, Emotes & Items

Beyond skins, the Bleach collab is expected to bring a variety of cosmetic items. The Zanpakuto (Soul Reaper swords) are a natural fit for pickaxes — Ichigo's massive Zangetsu would make an incredible harvesting tool. Other expected items include:

• Ichigo's iconic Zanpakuto as a harvesting tool, possibly with a Bankai transformation
• A signature attack emote showing Ichigo's energy slash
• A glider themed after the Soul Society gates or Senkaimon
• Ichigo's inner Hollow mask as a back bling
• A reference to the Hell Butterflies used for communication in Soul Society
• A weapon wrap with spiritual energy effects

Fortnite's Anime Collab History

Fortnite has built an impressive portfolio of anime collaborations. Previous anime crossovers include:

• Naruto x Fortnite (2021-2023): Multiple waves including Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, and Itachi, plus Kurama as a glider
• Dragon Ball x Fortnite (2022-2023): Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, Bulma, and Gohan with Kamehameha mythic
• Attack on Titan x Fortnite (2023): Eren, Mikasa, Levi with ODM Gear traversal
• Jujutsu Kaisen x Fortnite (2023): Yuji, Gojo, Nobara, Megumi with Domain Expansion emote

Bleach is the next major anime franchise to join this lineup. Given the anime's massive global fanbase and the recent resurgence of interest thanks to the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, the timing is perfect. Each Fortnite anime collab has been a massive success, and Bleach is expected to be no different.

Release Date & Pricing

While an exact release date has not been confirmed, Fortnite has stated the Bleach collab is arriving "very soon." Based on the teaser timing and the Chapter 7 Season 4 Gaming Legends theme, the Bleach collab is expected to drop within the first few weeks of the new season. This would align with the pattern of major anime collabs launching at the start of a new season.

Pricing is expected to follow the standard anime collab model. A single skin bundle typically costs around 1,500-2,000 V-Bucks, while the full set (multiple skins + items) could range from 3,500-5,000 V-Bucks. Individual items like pickaxes and emotes will likely be available separately for 500-800 V-Bucks each.
