Persona 5 Skins Are Releasing This Week in Fortnite
Official Release Confirmation
Polygon and VICE have independently confirmed that the Persona 5 × Fortnite crossover is releasing later this week, bringing the Phantom Thieves to the Override season (Chapter 7 Season 4). This is the culmination of weeks of teases, Atlus trailers, and daily Override reveals. The crossover is officially the most stacked collab wave in Fortnite history, featuring Persona 5 alongside Tetris, Roblox, Kingdom Hearts, and Pac-Man.
Confirmed Characters: Joker, Ann, Morgana
Three Persona 5 characters are officially confirmed for the crossover. Joker, the protagonist and leader of the Phantom Thieves, headlines the lineup in his iconic black coat, red gloves, and silver mask. Ann Takamaki, the team's wild card fighter, brings her signature punk-rock aesthetic. Morgana, the cat-like mascot of the team, is confirmed as a reactive back bling that comments on your in-game actions. Community speculation about Goro Adachi joining in a future wave remains unconfirmed.
Release Timing and Shop Rotation
The Persona 5 skins are expected to arrive in the Item Shop within the next 48 to 72 hours. Based on the current Override season schedule, the release likely coincides with a Wednesday shop reset or a live event tie-in. Shop-exclusive collab bundles typically remain available for 3 to 7 days per rotation before rotating out. The Persona 5 bundle may return at least once before the Override season ends, but there is no guarantee it will be available after the season concludes on November 5.
Expected Items and Bundle Pricing
The Joker bundle is expected to include the main skin, Morgana back bling, a dagger pickaxe, a Persona-themed glider, and an emote featuring Joker's signature pose. Based on comparable collab pricing, the full bundle is estimated at 1,800 to 2,500 V-Bucks, with individual items ranging from 300 to 800 V-Bucks each. Ann Takamaki may arrive as a separate skin or be included in a multi-character bundle. Additional cosmetics like a Velvet Room loading screen and Persona 5 weapon wraps are also expected.
How to Prepare for the Release
To maximize your chances of getting all Persona 5 cosmetics, start by banking V-Bucks ahead of the release. Check the Item Shop daily at 15:00 ET for rotations. Follow Epic Games and @FortniteGame on social media for exact drop times. Consider purchasing the Battle Pass alongside collab bundles, as it provides additional cosmetics for a fixed price. If V-Bucks are tight, prioritize the Joker skin over accessories, as the signature outfit carries the most value. The FNBoosting V-Bucks top-up service offers fast, secure purchases so you never miss a limited-time drop.
Why This Collab Is Historic
The Persona 5 crossover is the first Atlus franchise character to enter Fortnite, opening the door for future Persona and Shin Megami Tensei collaborations. After years of on-and-off rumors and community requests, Epic Games and Atlus have finally delivered. The Override season's Gaming Legends theme celebrates iconic characters from across media, and Persona 5's inclusion alongside Kingdom Hearts, Pac-Man, Sonic, and Tetris represents the most ambitious collab lineup in the game's history. For Persona fans, this is a milestone moment.
